Learn to make Southern Chow Chow and how to preserve seasonal foods. Community Walk & MAHEC Health Screening

Calling all Southside community members! Join Green Opportunities, MAHEC and B.A.B.S. (Build a Better Salad) for a free Southside health initiative: Community Walk & MAHEC Health Screening. The health screening begins at 9:00 am (blood pressure, weight, BMI etc.), and the community walk begins at 10:00 am.
This workshop is open to all community members. Fresh pressed juice and muffins will be provided to participants by B.A.B.S. This event will take place in the Edington Center gymnasium, located at 133 Livingston Street, Asheville, NC 28801.
