Green Opportunities Partners with Biltmore Farms Hotels to Showcase Hospitality Industry Career Pathways to GO Students

Students in GO’s 14th training cycle toured the Biltmore DoubleTree Hotel on April 17, 2017 and met with Biltmore Farms staff members to learn about hospitality career pathways.  

 

For more than a year, Biltmore Farms Hotels and Green Opportunities (GO) have been partnering to ensure that GO Kitchen Ready trainees are aware of the career pathways open to them in the local hospitality industry.

Come down to The Boathouse at 318 Riverside Drive in Asheville’s River Arts District for the 2nd annual Soul Shakedown by the River. Dance to the grooves of Asheville’s own Natural Born Leaders playing a mixture of funk, reggae, blues, and hip hop.We’ll have guest musical performances by some of Green Opportunities’ all-star alumni, including GO Build graduates Doug Dew (Doug Dewberry), Alpha Lee (Greg Lynch), and Siyah (Isa Whitaker).

Kitchen Ready Grab & Go Meals Now on the Shelves at Two Asheville Retail Locations

 

Green Opportunities is thrilled to announce that Kitchen Ready Grab & Go meals are now for sale daily at two local retail locations: Eco-Depot Marketplace in the River Arts District and the French Broad Food Co-op in downtown Asheville.

 

These new Grab & Go offerings build on an existing partnership between GO and the French Broad Food Co-op.
