GO’s Job Training Programs are Recruiting New Students for January Start — Apply today!

Green Opportunities is recruiting new students for our YouthBuild, Kitchen Ready & Youth Corps training programs!

 

Are you ready to make a positive change in your life, learn valuable skills, gain new resume-building experiences, and start a career?

 

YouthBuild GED + Carpentry program, starting in January!
In GO’s 6-month YouthBuild program, out-of-school youth ages 16-24 earn a GED while also earning nationally-recognized credentials, participating in hands-on training and service projects, and developing the life skills needed to successfully start a career or college.

September Training Program Updates

 

It’s been a busy month at Green Opportunities! If anything, our hectic schedule this month has reminded us all that our training programs are operating at their best when diverse people and employers from across our community are actively engaged in supporting our student’s growth and success. 

 

During the past few weeks our Kitchen Ready and YouthBuild students have participated in budgeting and credit classes led by Anna Smith of OnTrack Financial, and taken a soft skills and career pathways focused-tour of the Biltmore Estate.
