Kitchen Ready Showcase Dinner, Friday, May 31

Join the Green Opportunities Kitchen Ready program at 5:30 or 7:00 pm for a community dinner featuring Kitchen Ready twists on soul food dishes prepared by the graduating students of Cycle 22. This meal will showcase the culinary skills our students have honed during their 17 weeks of training. Guests will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis. The suggested donation is $10 or pay-what-you-can. All donations support the Kitchen Ready training program. We hope you will join us for this special event!

 

FIRST COURSE (choose one):
*Seasonal Timbale made of Cheese Grits, Collard Greens, Sweet Potatoes, Roasted Red Bell Pepper, Goat Cheese & Pickled Vegetables
*Green Salad with Raspberry & Ginger Kombucha Vinaigrette, Goat Cheese & Nuts

 

MAIN COURSE (choose one):
* Apple & Sausage-Stuffed Pork Tenderloin with a Sweet Tea Gastrique, Macaroni & Cheese, & Cole Slaw
* Vegan Pot Pie Fritters with Shiitake Mushrooms & Apple Chutney

 

DESSERT:
* Pear & Serviceberry Cobbler with Caramel Sauce & Whipped Cream
