Interim Executive Director

Green Opportunities is seeking an Interim Executive Director who will offer strong, effective, and temporary leadership for the organization during the executive transition process. The Interim Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors to facilitate a successful transition. They will improve internal processes and generate new excitement for the organization’s future. They will identify and report to the Board of Directors any recommended changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness during the transition period. The Board of Directors’ preference is that the Interim Executive Director is not seeking to become the permanent Executive Director. Chef Instructor

Reporting to the Kitchen Ready Program Manager, the Chef Instructor is responsible for delivering, evaluating, and assessing the Kitchen Ready culinary curriculum, and assisting with the preparation of meals for weekly lunch service and other GO events. This position collaborates with the Kitchen Ready Program Manager on the training curriculum to ensure training cycle dates, hours, and content successfully prepare students for jobs in the culinary industry. The Chef Instructor leads students through weekly lunch service, pop-up dinners, and other community feeding events that provide students with practical work experience.
