Save the Date! Attend a Community Engagement Social this Summer and Learn about Community Resources in Asheville.

This summer, Green Opportunities, Asheville Housing Authority Family Self Sufficiency Program and SNAP to Skills are co-hosting a series of Community Engagement Socials throughout Asheville.

We’ll kick off the series on Friday, June 9th from 4-6 pm at Hillcrest Apartments. We hope you’ll join us at one (or more!) of these family-friendly community celebrations. RSVP for the Hillcrest event on Facebook.

Come out to learn about community resources available in the areas of job training, education, financial literary, home ownership, and more from over 20 local organizations.

The Community Engagement Social is free and open to all. In addition to a community resource fair, the event will feature food, cooking demos, music by DJ Supaman, bounce house, face painting, and cell phones from Assurance Wireless.

Can’t make it to the June 9th event? Don’t worry! We’re also holding Community Engagement Socials on:

– Friday, June 23, 4-6 PM at Pisgah View Apartments. RSVP.
– Friday, June 21, 4-6 PM at Deaverview Apartments. RSVP.
