We are inviting local businesses to join us in our efforts to build a strong and equitable green economy in WNC. Ideal GO Business Partners are mission-oriented companies (and non-profits) that share our concerns for people and the planet. They recognize that true sustainability achieves the triple-bottom line: environment, economy, and social equity.
GO Business Partners can support our programs in one or both of the following ways:
Host an Asheville GO Apprentice – Apprentice Hosts receive a full- or part-time employee for 20 weeks and unique publicity benefits in exchange for funding, on-the-job training and supervision.
Become a GO Business Sponsor – GO Business Sponsors provide financial and/or in-kind contributions in exchange for unique publicity and widespread recognition in the community as a supporter of justice in the green economy.
Become a GO Project Partner – We rely on professionals from the local green economy to help us design and implement effective project-based training experiences for Asheville GO members. In return, project partners recognized as in our media releases, at GO events, and at the job site.
We know that partnering with local businesses makes our programs stronger and more sustainable. We also know that we offer businesses valuable opportunities to market themselves to a wide and diverse audience. Together, we can build a truly sustainable economy in Western North Carolina.
