Partners

Collaboration with other agencies and businesses is central to Green Opportunities’ implementation strategy because it allows us to offer a much broader range of services and experiences to the people we serve.

GO Partners fall into the following four categories:

Business Partners are mission-oriented companies who share our commitment to the Triple-Bottom Line. GO Business Partners host Asheville GO members as apprentices, and/or sponsor the organization in the form of cash or in-kind contributions.

Community Partners are nonprofit organizations, churches and other community groups that offer GO programs unique resources or opportunities.

Project Partners, comprised of local green businesses and nonprofits who are experts in their respective fields, help ensure that Asheville GO service-learning projects are authentic and provide the skill set and knowledge base most relevant to each green career path. Working alongside these partners facilitates formal and informal networking opportunities that pave the way for future employment.

Strategic Partners are agencies and nonprofits who share in one or more aspects of Green Opportunities’ mission. Collaboration with strategic partners enables both organizations to work more effectively and efficiently.
