Website Coordinator – Primary responsibilities include keeping the website exciting and current by adding events, resources, blog entries, news articles, photos, videos and links to other sites. While web design or content management system experience is a plus, it is not required.
Volunteer Coordinator – Primary responsibilities include recruiting volunteers, linking them with appropriate GO projects and coordinating groups of volunteers at special events.
Outreach/Advocacy Coordinator - Primary responsibilities include representing GO at community events, organizing and participating in campaigns that support the green-collar jobs agenda, and educating and engaging GO supporters and the community at large about issues that affect the organization.
Volunteer Positions
The time commitment required varies for each position. Please let us know your availability when inquiring about volunteer positions.
Drivers – We periodically need help transporting GO team members to appointments or job sites.
Office Assistants – Throughout the year, we may have need for some extra organizational help in the office. Activities might include filing, data entry, help on mailings, or organizing our resource library.

If you have an idea for a training workshop and have special skills or experience in the areas of food, construction, energy, ecology or human resource development, please inquire about how you can help.
Academic Tutors– GO members working towards acquiring their GED’s can often use periodic academic support to meet their academic goals.
Assistance at Events – With several public events planned throughout the year, we can always use extra help to make these events a success.
