Green Opportunities (GO) is dedicated to building a strong and equitable green economy in Western North Carolina and beyond. We invite you to join us in our efforts in one of the following ways:

JOIN the Asheville GO Training Team - We will begin accepting applications for the fall 2009 Asheville GO program cycle this May. To be eligible, applicants should be between 16 and 24 years old, underemployed, and not enrolled in school full-time. Priority is given to applicants from low-income communities and to those with barriers to employment

Volunteer – We are always looking for talented, committed individuals and groups to help us with service projects, events, and operations. 

Host an Asheville GO Apprentice – Apprentice Hosts receive a full- or part-time employee for 20 weeks and unique publicity benefits in exchange for a financial contribution and the willingness to provide supervision and training.

Become a GO Business SponsorGO Business Sponsors provide financial and/or in-kind contributions in exchange for unique publicity and widespread recognition in the community as a supporter of a justice in the green economy.

Become a GO Project Partner – Whether you are a business, nonprofit, government agency or academic institution, we can use your help in designing and implementing effective project-based training experiences for Asheville GO members. In return, you’ll be recognized as a partner in media releases, at GO events, and at the job site.
