Come meet the Asheville Green Opportunities Training Team this Friday night at Green Drinks. The talk is being led by members currently enrolled in the Asheville GO program.

In their own words:

Asheville Green Drinks is a networking party that is part of the self-organizing global grassroots movement to connect communities with environmental ideas, media and action. People who are interested in environmental issues and topics meet up for a drink.

It's a great way of catching up with people you know and also for making new contacts. Everyone invites someone else along, so there's always a different crowd making Green Drinks an organic, self-organizing network.

These events are very simple and sometimes unstructured, but many people have found employment, made friends, developed new ideas, done deals and had moments of serendipity.
