Philadelphia Activists are Greening the Streets

Jun 04 2009

May 29 2009

What a night! The evening was action-packed from start to finish with poets, comedians, food, and friends filling all four floors of the Phil Mechanic building.  With so much to do, guests hardly had enough time to choose which prize to shoot for in the raffle and auction. Winners went home smiling with vouchers for free massages, a free home energy audit, and a glass-blown guitar slide, to name a few, not to mention all the folks who have fabulous new paintings hanging in their living room this morning. The breakdancers of Hunab Kru wowed the crowd with...

First Semester a Success

Feb 24 2009

The eight initial corps members of Asheville Green Opportunities (GO) are nearing completion of their first phase of training.
